PEX Series
PGR Drive Technologies' PEX series provides robust solutions with a strong, powerful body and wide gear ranges for extruder systems where axial and radial forces are high.
- The PEX series is designed for both single and twin-screw extruders.
- It can be supplied in 2 or 3 stages with 12 different body sizes.
- In 2 stages, with a gear range of 8-30.
- In 3 stages, with a gear range of 10-50.
- Due to the wide distance between input and output shafts, the electric motor and drum can be easily installed.
- Bodies are manufactured in spheroidal (GGG 50-60) material.
- Gears are made from forged and carburized 21NiCrMo2 steel.
- The bearings used for the axial load of the extruder screw are of the E series, type "294".
- High-quality bearings and sealing elements are utilized.
